Bletilla striata 'Big Bob' (Hardy Ground Orchid)

Flower stalks covered in 2" lavender flowers stand well above the bold, bladed foliage of this hardy orchid. The flowers are similar to that of Cattleya orchids.  Large 3-4 feet wide masses of this plant are possible at maturity.
