Clematis hexapetela 'Mongolian Snowflakes' (Bush Clematis)
Here is another Clematis that doesn't fit the norm. With no ability to climb on its own this one is best sprawl across the ground, down a wall, or be supported by a short structure. It will only reach a couple feet tall so it doesn't have far to flop over. It can be cut back each spring and still be covered by two inch white flowers on the new spring growth. A very drought tolerant Clematis this would be a great addition to the rock garden.
