This compact violet is an enchanting groundcover with beautiful silvery-blue, heart-shaped foliage. Throughout spring and early summer, small violet flowers protrude from beneath the foliage. It is ideal for shady woodland settings but once established, it is very drought tolerant. Individuals spread somewhat, but colonies are only created by seed-set.
