Athyrium niponicum var. pictum 'Burgundy Lace' (Japanese Painted Fern)

A beautiful fern that emerges burgundy in the spring and slowly changes to a grayish-green later in summer.  Only reaching a height of about 12-18" it will form nice clumps just as wide and be a great addition to your shade garden.
