Eupatorium coelestinum (Hardy Ageratum)

The flowers look identical to those small ageratums you see on garden center tables in the spring but this plant is a perennial and native to Kentucky. You will find it growing to about 1-2 feet tall in open fields and blooming in late summer and fall. In a happy garden setting this plant will form nice masses and be a welcome sight in the late season.
