Euonymus americanus (Strawberry Bush)
An interesting and unique native woodland shrub to about 5' tall that remains a bit in the background through much of the spring and summer. But as summer fades and fall comes into focus, the bright pink/red fruits make a very cool show. As the red/pink capsules split, they reveal a bright orange seed. Grows well in full sun or light shade. Great for naturalizing and makes a cool cut stem in fall. Very easy to grow.
