Hemerocallis 'Blackthorne' (Daylily)
Arguably one of the most collectible genus of plants in the American Midwest garden, everyone knows what a daylily is. They are tough, easily divided to shared with friends, and come in about a bazillion and a half different varieties. 'Blackthorne' has a large flower up to 5" across with a deep maroon center and light yellow on the outside of the bloom. The margins of the petal are slightly ruffled and you can expect the flowers to stand a little over 24".
