Do you have one of those terrible areas where construction or other disturbance have left an eye sore of a hill or bank in the sun? Give this a try. Growing only a few inches tall, it will spread out and form a dense mat. Where the stems touch, it will root to the ground aiding in erosion control. In early summer, you will have the added benefit of petite white flowers followed by orange fruit. Wildlife may find the berries desirable, but we would recommend sticking with the plump juicy raspberries you have in the edible garden for the table. Deer resistant!
