Coreopsis tripteris 'Gold Standard' (Tall Coreopsis)

One of our favorite late season composites. A North American native that will grow to 6-8' tall and 4-6' wide that starts to show its bright yellow blooms in late May or early June and doesn't stop until some time in fall. Drought tolerant, deer proof, good cut and pollinator plant, this one does it all. Loves full sun and dry-ish soil. Actually, too much irrigation can lead to it flopping.  A Mt. Cuba introduction.
