We honestly have no idea why everyone isn't growing this plant! 12" tall, glossy evergreen foliage with small spring bell-shaped flowers in white/green. Spreads slowly in the shade garden. Won't say deer-proof . . . but deer resistant!  When temperatures drop below 10 Fahrenheit the foliage finally takes a hit and will die back until the spring. As I write this description, I'm looking out the front window at home and I can still see green foliage under the light snow and ice we received last night.
