This dwarf cultivar of our native Smooth Hydrangea has a lovely, moderate size, not quite as imposing as the much larger Oakleaf Hydrangea. It has dark green, egg-shaped leaves that have serrated margins. The flowers are a dainty pure white on flat topped clusters but initially emerge pink. *
