Utilized as an annual for seasonal color in the gardens here at Yew Dell, this plant provides great appeal as a foliage plant in containers located in full shade to dappled sun. The wing-shaped leaves are a forest green and speckled with white to silvery dots all over. The underside of the leaves is a gorgeous crimson. We have kept many of these annual begonias thriving by keeping them in the glasshouse to overwinter; if you plan on doing this, make sure re-pot accordingly, these can grow to 5 feet if given the right environmental conditions.
