A classic, tried and true shade perennial. One of the original cultivated varieties of the species. Dark green foliage has stunning silver overlay. Dainty baby-blue flowers emerge in spring making this plant a truly unique combination of foliage and blooms. This variety stays short and can be used in shaded containers as a filler, along low borders, or even as a lovely underplanting below the canopy of a tree. Photo courtesy of Walters Gardens, Inc.
