You would think with a name like 'Baby Joe' this Joe Pye would be really short. That isn't the case. It tops out at around three feet tall but considering the straight species can get up to 5-6 feet I guess baby isn't too bad of a descriptor. It still has the amazing plumes of light purple flowers in late summer that the pollinators love.
