Strobilanthes auriculata var. dyeriana (Persian Shield)

Incredibly cool annual with purple and silver leaves. Best for full sun.  Visitors to Yew Dell always ask about this plant when we have it in the gardens.  The hotter it gets in the summer the more it likes it.
