Athyrium niponicum var. pictum 'Regal Red' (Japanese Painted Fern)

All of the great characteristics of the Japanese painted fern but with a purple/violet (not red) color to the middle of the fronds. A true winner in shade gardens in our area, expect this plant to top out in the 18-24" range.
