Geranium maculatum (Wild Geranium)
Not everything in the garden needs to be dwarf, weeping, variegated or purple foliaged! This native geranium is found throughout eastern North America in lightly wooded sites where it delights with spring crops of pink to lavender flowers over finely divided foliage. The 18" tall plants scramble in and around other plants and offers a soft ground plane for other plants later in the season. A seldom offered but very useful garden plant. Not bothered by deer or rabbits.
