Helianthus maximilianii (Maximilian Sunflower)

Not sure why everyone doesn't need or want one of these stunning giants of the garden. A favorite plant of small birds that feed off of the seed heads in fall and winter. Very tall stalks covered in large, bright yellow sunflowers in summer and fall. What a great option for some height in the garden.
