This excellent native Monarda runs a little shorter than most other bee balm species and isn't nearly as common in the wild or the horticultural trade. It produces pale pink to lavender blooms and all parts of the plant give off a wonderful aroma. Great as a cut flower, for pollinator gardens, rain gardens, and just about any mixed border.
