This clump-forming, perennial grass bears large, drooping, oat-like flower spikelets on arching branches. The blue-green foliage often turns a bright yellow-gold, especially in sunnier sites during the fall. A low maintenance grass that would prefer shade but does just fine with a good bit of sun.
