This is one big honkin' coneflower! A basal mass of bright, blue/green foliage yields an 8-9' tall stalk with multiple yellow flowers with dark brown centers in mid to late summer. Makes a huge statement in the summer garden. Loves hot, sunny sites with dryish soil once established.  These can be found growing in the Overlook Garden at Yew Dell.
