This native onion derives its name from the pom-pom like clusters of star shaped blooms which face towards the ground on hooked stems. The flowers themselves can be pink to lavender to a creamy white. This plant is fantastic for a meadowscape, cottage garden, or sunny border, spreading manageably through seed and bulbs.
