This native species loves wetland soils for those that have pond features or mucky areas from gutter runoff. Tall, wand-like stems can easily spread to fill out a wet area and have attractive pink to rose-purple flowers that emerge at the leaf axils. Photo courtesy of Minnesota Wildflowers.
