Sedum ternatum (Three-leaved Stonecrop)
Our native sedum!!! In the Kentucky woodlands you will find this plant clinging to the side of limestone cliffs, boulders, and other areas that are well drained. Put this in a nice planter on your patio or in your garden and it will be about as low maintenance as they get. In spring it will become covered in tiny white flowers that stand up above the foliage a few inches. Protecting it from the hot afternoon sun will be beneficial.
