An old Hispanic heirloom variety, this marigold has a different look to it than most. The foliage is thinner and a very dark green, which contrasts well with the bright yellow flowers that are much smaller than those of French or African marigolds. What they lack in size they make up for in flavor. An ideal little bloom to use as a tasty garnish for beverages or entrees.  Photo courtesy of Baker Creek
