Tomato 'Buratino' (Solanum lycopersicum)

Buratino is Russian for Pinocchio, which describes the orange fruit's long pointed nose.  The hardy plants have a fantastic flavor and high yields.  This variety is believed to have been introduced by the Vavilov Institute of Plant Industry in St. Petersburg, Russia.  Photo courtesy of Baker Creek
