This cultivar of an exemplary native grass is tolerant of a wide spectrum of soil types and conditions. Extremely drought tolerant once it has established a solid root system, this species forms a well-behaved clump with attractive green leaf blades and a touch of blue at the base. In the fall, the leaves convert to a bronze-orange, giving this grass multi-season interest.
