Not a Theodore Klein (1905-1998) introduction but rather a pass-along plant given to him many years ago by a gardening friend named Faye. During one of the early springs of Yew Dell being a botanical garden in the early 2000's it was noticed growing along the edge of a wood line. It was brought back up into the garden and the Klein family identified it and shared the story with staff. This 3-foot, double purple selection is completely consistent in form and color from seed. We wouldn't be without it!
