A classic and much-loved Kentucky spring wildflower found in light woodlands and rocky soils. Growing only 6" tall or so, the sword-like green foliage is topped with bluish iris blooms. Plants will establish quickly and form clumps large enough to divide and share within only a couple of seasons. Fleeting but that just makes it all the more precious!
