Clematis heracleifolia (Bush Clematis)

This is far from your typical clematis. It is non vining and only gets to 2-3 feet tall and wide. It isn't a sturdy plant and could use some extra support. For a quick fix a small upside down tomato cage will due the trick. In last summer small, true blue tubular flowers open up and eventually give way to the always nice poofy Clematis seed heads.
