This native, perennial warm-season grass thrives in full sun and does exceptionally well even in dry, poor soil conditions. Very salt tolerant too and can be planted near Black Walnut roots with no problem. A more compact and bushy grass with sprays of many tiny seed heads that appear as an airy haze of purple in the landscape.
