Oxalis violacea (Violet Wood Sorrel)

Regular price $6.00

Certain species of smaller, unattractive wood sorrels are the bane of my existence in the nursery as a prolific weed, but this species is an absolute delight. Shamrock leaves are bright green, and the flowers are such a wonderful shade of violet-pink with a center that transitions from white to green. A super easy plant to grow. It can spread by reseeding but if it reaches areas of the garden you didn't intend, it is very easy to uproot. Photo courtesy of Prairie Moon Nursery.
