This is a cool plant that we don't know which category to put it in.  It is an edible that will liven up the look to any salad but it is a BITTER one.  Definitely need a sweet dressing for it.  Then, on the other hand, just the beautiful green leaves with bright red veins makes it an outstanding ornamental in the sun garden.  For best results and color give in consistent moisture.
