A selection of our Kentucky native tree by Michael Yanny.  It will grow to be about 20 feet tall and nearly as wide but Michael selected it for the fall color.  Screaming orange, red, and yellows develop at the end of the season.  The Eastern Tiger Swallowtail, Striped Hairstreak, and Red-spotted Purple butterflies use the Hornbeam as a host plant.  These plants for sale are around 3' tall.  They would make a incredible hedge for anyone willing to take the time to keep them clipped a couple times each year.
