Disporum sessile 'Variegatum' (Fairy Bells)

This close relative of our native Polygonatum is a terrific plant in mass in the shade garden.  When you enter the garden at Yew Dell from the gift shop take a look at the mass we have under the Magnolia tree to your left as you walk in.  Growing to about 18" tall this variegated form is a perfect underplanting to a specimen tree as we have it growing here.
